About Us

Hi.  I'm Emily.

And this is my husband, Eric.

We're the Johnsons!

We were married and sealed for time and all eternity on April 18th, 2014 in the Kansas City Latter-day Saint temple.

It all started at BYU-I do.  We met my first semester of college, Eric's first semester after his mission in Recife, Brazil.

Our first picture together.  Taken on our second date.

Elder Johnson

We dated for two years before he finally asked me "Will you be the princess in my happily ever after?"

So now we're together forever!

Our first year of married life is a crazy one. We lived in Juneau, Alaska, working up there for the summer as tour guides/drivers.  Next, we went to Hawaii for a blissful week before unpacking and repacking our bags for Lisbon, Portugal.  Here, Eric is doing an internship in the United States Embassy while I write blog posts and eat dangerously delicious pastries to my heart's content.  In December, we'll finally move into a place of our own in Rexburg, Idaho...but only long enough to finish school (i.e. four months).

So that's life right now.

If you want to know why this blog exists, here's a good post to start with:
