To call your spouse, girlfriend/boyfriend, fiance, or whatever your "best friend" seems like such a cliche thing. How often do people post on Facebook, "I get to marry my best friend in 91 days!" "I've been dating my best friend for 3.25 months now!" or something of the sort? Too often, and a lot of times, the people who call their significant other their "best friend" forget what a best friend really is.
A best friend isn't someone you share a bed with, make babies with, or sit next to while you put sappy posts on Facebook to indirectly tell him how much you appreciate him. Although a best friend can be a person you do that with, a best friend isn't defined by that.
He's someone you don't ever get tired of being around.
Especially if Disneyland is involved. |
He's the one you can be yourself around.

Even wedding photos. |
He's the first person you want to do things with.

He's the person you go on adventures with, big and small.
Are we doing this selfie thing right? |
So here's to my best friend, my adventure buddy.
